Strap Hinge Coasters

These 4" square coasters were created in a rich dark brown stoneware. The design was created using the sgraffito technique. White slip was applied to the surface and the strap hinge designs were carved into each of the pieces by hand. A light coat of clear satin glaze was applied before the second firing. Each is unique and I have put cork on the bottom of each so that your surfaces will be protected from scratching.
