7" Scarab Beetle Jar

This hand built lidded jar is 7" tall made of stoneware. The lid is adorned with a scarab beetle and the surface is textured all over. Glazing in a mottled green and the beetle is finished in a metallic glaze. Under the lid below the scarab beetle is a sculpted ankh, the key of life.
