Cthulhu Air Planter

I don't know if H. P. Lovecraft was fond of air plants but I think he would love this Cthulhu air planter! I'm always looking for opportunities to reshape everyday functional pieces of pottery into something special. I designed this Cthulhu planter to hold an air plant, in this case a Tillandsia. The leaves stretch out perfectly like tentacles. Finished in green and black glazes, Cthulhu's wings stretch up behind him framing this iconic cosmic entity.
